Scar revision is the process of removing your old scar and producing a new one that is more aesthetically pleasant

The procedure: making the scar and area will be numbed with local aesthetic shots, the old scar will be removed, a multiple zig zag pattern closure usually required to give you the best possible results. This may leave an improved scar, but it will take many weeks before the scar becomes flat, loses its redness and starts to look better than before. All of this healing will take a minimum of three months, for the scar tissue to soften and mature into its best ultimate form.
