Rejuran is a skin-rejuvenating treatment formulated with Polynucleotides (PN) derived from salmon DNA. Unlike traditional fillers that add volume, Rejuran acts as a bio-regenerator. Rejuran is a versatile treatment suitable for various skin types. It is commonly used to address signs of ageing such as fine lines and wrinkles, dull or dehydrated skin, enlarged pores, and uneven skin texture. It is also an effective option for individuals looking to improve the appearance of acne scarring or those seeking rejuvenation for the sensitive under-eye area.

The process begins with a personalised consultation to determine your suitability. During the procedure, the Rejuran solution is administered via a series of precise microinjections into the skin. To manage any potential discomfort, a topical numbing cream is typically applied to the treatment area beforehand. The session usually takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Most patients experience minimal downtime. Immediately following the treatment, small bumps may appear at the injection sites, accompanied by slight redness or swelling. These effects are a normal part of the process and typically resolve within 24 to 48 hours. We recommend avoiding strenuous exercise and heat-based treatments (like saunas) for the first 24 hours to support optimal recovery.

While some improvement may be noticed after a single session, a standard course usually consists of three treatments spaced approximately four weeks apart. As Rejuran works by stimulating biological skin repair, results appear gradually. To maintain the health and quality of your skin, follow-up “maintenance” sessions are generally recommended every 6 to 12 months.

As with any injectable procedure, there are potential risks, including temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or mild tenderness at the injection site. Serious complications are rare but will be discussed in detail during your initial consultation. This treatment is not suitable for those with active skin infections or certain allergies.
